MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Linn County Sheriff's Office is to enhance the quality of life for all members of the community by providing exceptional law enforcement services. We strive to obtain this goal by providing a sense of security to our community and its citizens through dedicated, respectful, and progressive service. We will treat all we encounter with respect and integrity as we work to continually earn their trust. We will also act with courage to uphold the law with professionalism and fairness. 

 

VISION STATEMENT

The Linn County Sheriff's Office will capitalize on its resources to continue to grow, adapt and evolve as we provide the highest level of professional service and protection to all residents and visitors of our county. We are committed to increasing the public's awareness level of criminal activities. We shall strive to maintain an atmosphere of trust, mutual support, and understanding by participative involvement within the community and with its citizens.
